Tuesday - Training Task

This morning a lot of pilots arrived already in Disentis for the training task. At 11:00 we went up to the take off. The training task was cancelled before ground start, because of the weather. It was good flyable in the region but at some places in the high mountains it was already raining.

Now we are ready for the competition start :-)

Weather report Monday noon

It is very difficult to make a prognosis with all the humidity. Fact is, that the weather report is "difficult" until wednesday. Yesterday the pilots did fly at disentis, and today it looks like it will be flyable as well. But flayable is not a valid task ... I know... But what shall we do? If we cancel wednesday, it can easily be good enough for a task - if we proceed, it will be bad (Murphy's Law ;-)).

I will check the latest prognosis again at 17h and will publish it on our website. But Probably we keep on going on our normal agenda.

Weather Report for Tuesday and on

We are in a humid general situation with low winds. Unfortunately the weather report is getting worth for Tuesday and especially for Wednesday. It looks, like a trough get over our area.

Tuesday:
Training day, I still think, that we can go up for a flight.

Wednesday:
With the latest weather reports, Wednesday looks bad. Its a through, with is influencing our area a bit surprisingly. I will have a call to MeteoSchweiz tomorrow morning. I will inform, Monday noon about the chance for a task.
