Weather report Friday noon

Yesterday I wrote: "The prognosis under this (humid) general situation is difficult !". If you compare the first two pictures for tomorrow, you see what I mean. One shows much better in Tessin, one show all the rain in Tessin ... The situation is caused from a small cold-air-packet in the hight.

I still do not see a realistic chance for a proper flight. If you are in the area and if you desperately like to fly, you will have to choose the spot tomorrow morning (check www.meteo.search.ch/prognosis and www.meteo.search.ch/cloud).

It will rain Saturday afternoon, evening and night. But Sunday morning we have a chance for a clear window. At 14 h a new rain-zone (small cold front) will arrive from the west.

I stick on my forcast from yesterday: THERE IS A 40% CHANCE TO FLY AND 10% FOR A TASK.

With a certain chance we can start exacly when the cloud base rises above TO and fly towards east, landing in Flims. Very short, but we are here to fly!

Therefor:

REGISTRATION SATURDAY FROM 17:00 TO 20:00.
IF THE WEATHER LOOKS STILL PROMISING FOR SUNDAY WE MAKE THE GENERAL BRIEFING SATURDAY AT 21:00.

If it looks hopeless, we make it Sunday afternoon (during the rain). And we will define a possibility to make your registration.

We are still very optimistic from Tuesday on!

PS: We will find a solution to see the soccer final :-)
